About Dr. Pavlak-Schenk
Dr. Pavlak-Schenk was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She grew up on the Gulf Coast and in New Jersey. Her undergraduate degree is from Rutgers University, where she also did one additional year of post graduate training in Biochemistry. Dr. Pavlak-Schenk earned her degree from the college of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. Her internship and residency in Internal Medicine was done at St.Michael’s Hospital in Newark, NJ. She completed a Fellowship in Hematology –Oncology at St. Michael’s and UMDNJ, New Brunswick, NJ. After the fellowship was completed, Dr. Pavlak-Schenk was in private practice for 10 years in Edison, New Jersey before joining New Jersey Hematology Oncology Associates in 2000.
